Overview

Nestled in the heart of Taman Megah Kepong, Restaurant Chu Chu Pork Noodle & FISH HEAD NOODLE offers a comforting dive into Malaysian-style pork noodle dishes. Situated at Jalan Udang Harimau 1, this unassuming eatery draws locals and newcomers alike, eager to experience hearty bowls centered around their signature Chu Chu Pork Noodle.

The star attraction here is undoubtedly the pork noodle, available both dry and in soup. Each bowl arrives generously garnished with minced pork, pork slices, pork balls, intestine, liver, and fuzuk—a balanced ensemble that showcases traditional textures and flavors without an overpowering pork aroma, a common pitfall in similar dishes. The broth is flavorful and rich, yet subtle, making it a satisfying choice whether you prefer your noodles soupy or dry with a special sauce.

Ambience at Chu Chu feels casually welcoming, with a clean and well-maintained space. The toilets' cleanliness stands out, reflecting a broader attention to hygiene. Parking can be challenging at times, but the friendly and attentive staff—some even assisting with QR code ordering—make the experience smooth and pleasant.

Coffee lovers will appreciate their strong, aromatic kopi, complementing the meal perfectly. While some dishes like the claypot yee mee and fried prawn beehoon may land as average, the fried pork lard is a notable highlight, adding a crispy, savory element that diners keep returning for.

This restaurant serves those seeking a traditional yet approachable Malaysian pork noodle experience, whether for a casual lunch or a quick dinner. The portions are generous and prices reasonable, making it an attractive option for local food enthusiasts and families alike. Though some diners have noted that presentation can occasionally fall short during busy hours, the overall quality remains reliable and enjoyable.

For anyone exploring the culinary landscape of Kepong, Restaurant Chu Chu Pork Noodle & FISH HEAD NOODLE offers an authentic and satisfying meal, grounded in tradition but delivered with a modern touch of service and atmosphere.

One pleasant afternoon, I decided to visit this restaurant. Their service was decent; they even had a QR code for ordering, but one staff member assisted me with most of the main menu. The menu looked so tempting that I felt like trying everything, but I ended up just ordering the 猪肉粉. When it arrived, it didn’t look quite like what I expected—perhaps they were too busy and forgot how it was presented on the menu. I chose not to say anything and just went ahead with it. I’ve tasted better versions elsewhere and decided not to take anything else home. The ambiance was generally okay, but it might be a while before I return.

Walked into this newly opened restaurant (3 months ago). Tried out their both signature Chu Chu Pork Noodle(Dry) & Fried Dragon Grouper Meat Noodle. My best choice would be the Pork Noodle, the broth is flavorful and no porky smell and ingredients is quite generous too. Love their coffee as it has the strong aroma. Will definitely come back again. Parking: 3/5 Food: 4/5 Ambience: 4/5 Cleanliness: 5/5 (Toilet is clean) Service: 5/5 Friendliness: 5/5 Price: Reasonable

I had a great meal at Chu Chu Pork Noodle. The noodles were springy and cooked just right. The pork was tender and flavorful, and the broth was rich and delicious. I also tried the dry noodles, and they were really tasty with their special sauce. The portion was generous, and the prices were reasonable. The place was clean, and the staff were friendly. I’ll definitely come back again. Highly recommend if you love pork noodles!

The soup was flavorful and full-bodied, with a nice peppery kick. The pork slices were super tender, and the minced meat added extra richness. Loved the crunchy pork lard too—it’s addictive!” Service was quick and friendly, and the place was clean and cozy despite the lunch crowd.Portions were generous for the price—definitely value for money.” I’ll definitely be back to try the dry version next time!
